Family Practice at Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad
Our practice focuses in particular on the treatment and care of aged patients suffering from various illnesses and ailments.
Geriatric medicine involves the prevention, diagnosis, therapy and rehabilitation of illnesses brought about by old age.
Our objective is to help aged individuals maintain their levels of independence and preserve their personal health and wellbeing. Thanks to a range of treatments and tests, we are able to recognise not only an individual’s physical limitations, but also his or her skills and resources. By doing so, we are able to provide targeted medical care and support in social spheres and situations. As a result, we are able to help our patients remain independent for as long as possible.
Check-ups available as individual healthcare services (IGel)
We also offer individual, self-pay healthcare services for overseas patients. These check-ups include extensive blood tests, urine tests, a complete physical, ultrasound examinations of the abdomen and thyroid as well as a stool test. The results of these tests are then discussed with the patient, with possible follow-up examinations with specialist doctors being recommended as necessary.
